Services
A polygraph examination is a service rendered personally. Once the service has actually been provided (the test has been carried out), the payment is non-refundable.
Tests that have been paid for (including EyeDetect and VerifEye tests paid online): if you cancel before preparation of the test has begun, we refund the payment in full; after preparation — see below. The date can be rescheduled if you notify us at least 24 hours before the start of the test. If a test is invalid through our fault (lighting, equipment failure), we repeat it free of charge; if it is invalid for reasons attributable to the person taking the test (lack of sleep, medication, alcohol, drugs, etc.), the repeat test is paid for in full. For details, see section 9 of the public offer.
If you change your mind after the test has been prepared. By paying for a test, the client agrees that preparation begins immediately after payment. Preparation means agreeing the questions and instructions with the client, building the individual test and running the number test. The number test is a full test taken by the examinee; it is free of charge only if the main test takes place. If the client declines the main test after preparation, the service is deemed provided to the extent of the preparation and the number test carried out. In that case we refund only the cost of the unused manufacturer’s licence for the main test: USD 17 for VerifEye, USD 28 for EyeDetect — in hryvnias at the National Bank of Ukraine rate on the refund date. The rest of the amount paid is non-refundable.
Goods (equipment)
Returns and exchanges of goods of proper quality are carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Rights Protection”:
- within 14 days of receipt (not counting the day of purchase);
- the item has not been used, and its original appearance, seals, labels, completeness and the payment receipt have been preserved;
- the refund is made by the same method that was used for payment, within the period established by law.
Goods of improper quality (with a manufacturing defect) are exchanged or accepted for return within the warranty period. In the case of a confirmed defect, the delivery costs are reimbursed by the Contractor.
