Who we are
Our website address is: https://polygraph-top.com.ua/
Comments
When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data entered in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent data, in order to detect spam.
An anonymised string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Media files
If you are a registered user and upload photos to the site, you may want to avoid uploading images with EXIF metadata, as it may contain your GPS location data. Visitors can obtain this information by downloading images from the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website saved in cookies. This is for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies are kept for one year.
If you have an account on the site and log in to it, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies; this cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in to your account, we also set several cookies to store your login data and screen display settings. Login cookies are kept for two days, and screen settings cookies for a year. If you select “Remember me”, your login data will be kept for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.
When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser; it contains no personal data, only the ID of the post you have edited, and it expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.); such content behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of placing them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their profile information at any time (except their username). The website administration can also view and change this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on the site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that this data be erased; this does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
User comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.
