How Much Does a Polygraph Lie Detector Test Cost?

POLYGRAPH TEST PRICES in 2026:

• A lie detector test conducted by an expert polygraph examiner costs from 900 to 8,000 UAH (≈ €160) — depending on the testing technology you choose.
• We conduct tests in Lviv; if you are in another city, we will help you choose a method or recommend a fellow polygraph examiner.
• VerifEye online test — from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50)
• Classic polygraph (full test) — 3,000–8,000 UAH (≈ €59–160)
• EyeDetect (eye-based test) — from 5,500 UAH (≈ €110); the test is taken in Lviv
• Forensic psychophysiological examination — from 20,000 UAH (≈ €395) (conducted by a certified forensic expert)

What the price depends on

Need an actual test rather than theory? Take the VerifEye online test — from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50), with no need to visit an office — or calculate the cost of a polygraph test.

Prices are given for testing one person. The final amount depends on several things.

• The number of questions and topics. One clear question (“did you take the money”) costs less than a test covering several areas at once — infidelity, theft, drug use.
• The technology. An online test is cheaper than a full test on a classic polygraph because it takes less time and requires no meeting.
• The number of people. If a group is tested — for example, staff after a theft — the price per person is lower.
• The depth of the test. A complex situation with many circumstances requires longer preparation of the questions.
• The city. We conduct tests in person in Lviv; the price charged by a fellow polygraph examiner in another city may differ.

What is included in the price

• Help with choosing a method. If you are not in Lviv, we will recommend the online VerifEye test or a fellow polygraph examiner in your city.
• A written conclusion with the test results.
• A consultation before the test — free of charge. You can call, describe the situation and hear which format will suit you and how much it will cost in your particular case.
• No prepayment. You pay after the test; EyeDetect and VerifEye can also be paid online when booking, if you prefer.

How much does a polygraph test abroad cost?

Prices are different for clients outside Ukraine:

• VerifEye online test — from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50) per test, taken remotely from any country.
• Classic polygraph with a fellow polygraph examiner whom we recommend — roughly from €130; they will name the exact price.
• EyeDetect — from 5,500 UAH (≈ €110); the test is taken at the station in Lviv.

Which technology to choose so you don’t overpay

The most common mistake is ordering the most expensive option straight away, even though the task can be handled by a simpler one.

• One specific question, and you need an answer quickly — the VerifEye online test. 10–25 minutes, can be taken remotely, from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50).
• A complex situation, several topics, you need a document — a classic polygraph. One and a half to three hours, a written conclusion, 3,000–8,000 UAH (≈ €59–160).
• Staff screening when there are many people — EyeDetect. The test is standardised, nothing is attached to the person, and it takes up to 45 minutes including the result.
• You need the result for court — only a forensic psychophysiological examination, from 20,000 UAH (≈ €395). A court does not accept an ordinary polygraph examiner’s conclusion as an expert examination.

FAQ: polygraph test prices

Can I find out the exact amount in advance?

Yes. Call us and describe the situation — and you will get the exact figure before you order anything. The consultation is free and places you under no obligation.

Do I have to pay in advance?

No. We work without prepayment — you pay after the test.

How long does the test take?

Classic polygraph — from 1.5 to 3 hours. EyeDetect — up to 45 minutes including the conclusion. VerifEye online — 10–25 minutes. You receive the result on the day of the test.

Why a range rather than a single figure?

Because a test on one question and a test on five topics are different amounts of work. The polygraph examiner designs the questions for the specific situation, and this takes different amounts of time. A range is more honest than a “fixed price” that has to be revised later anyway.

Are there discounts for testing several people?

Yes, when a group is tested, the price per person is lower. We calculate the specific amount for your volume.
