Often the only way to uncover infidelity or confirm fidelity in a marriage is a lie detector test. Infidelity is characterised by the fact that each of those involved tries to hide it, which makes it hard to detect even with expensive methods such as surveillance, tapping phone calls, and intercepting mail and text messages. For example, a one-off case of a husband cheating while on a business trip in another city can be extremely difficult or almost impossible to detect by other methods. A lie detector test, however, can establish or refute this fact within a few hours.
Even a casual act of infidelity by a husband or wife can set off a chain of events that may eventually lead to a break-up, psychological trauma and the loss of property. However, a husband’s or wife’s suspicions of cheating that are never confirmed can also cause discomfort in the family and lead to infidelity. This often makes living together unbearable and can end in divorce, even if there was in fact no infidelity.
In both cases, a lie detector test can help establish the truth and, depending on the results, help you make informed decisions about your next steps.
LIE DETECTOR TEST FOR INFIDELITY – BENEFITS AND ADVANTAGES
Looking for an answer rather than signs? There are two ways to find out for sure: the VerifEye online test (from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50), no office visit) or a classic polygraph — calculate the cost.
- Using our modern computerised hardware and software and at least three cross-testing methods, a polygraph test of a husband or wife can be the only reliable way to confirm infidelity or, conversely, a husband’s fidelity.
- A lie detector test usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours, unlike other methods that take weeks or months.
- Our “Lie detector for infidelity” service costs several times less than the services of other detective agencies and other methods.
- An infidelity lie detector test costs 3,000–8,000 UAH (≈ €59–160) (classic polygraph). The VerifEye online test costs from 2,500 UAH (≈ €50). We conduct tests in Lviv; if you are in another city, we will help you choose a method or recommend a fellow polygraph examiner.
- Infidelity testing on a lie detector answers the client’s specific questions and establishes the details that matter to them.
QUESTIONS FOR A LIE DETECTOR INFIDELITY TEST
The examiner prepares individual questions and tests for every infidelity lie detector test, taking into account the specifics of each order. There is no need to look for lists of questions on the internet or elsewhere: some companies and private polygraph examiners use standard templates, which can lead to unreliable results and even greater damage to family relationships.
Our test questions have unique features that we take into account to ensure the most accurate result of an infidelity lie detector test.
If you contact us and provide all the necessary information, we will be able to design tests that best match your needs and help you get answers.
DURING A POLYGRAPH INFIDELITY TEST
- We do not predict the future; we uncover facts of infidelity in the past.
- Our task is to determine truth and lies, not to tell fortunes.
- What “infidelity” means is individual for each person, so when drawing up the test we clarify what this concept means for the Client and the Examinee.
- Our specialists word the questions so that the answers to them are simple and unambiguous – “Yes” or “No”.
- When testing before a marriage, we look for hidden motives in the future spouse, such as the desire to obtain money, housing, citizenship and the like.
- Questions related to infidelity are sensitive and specific, so we recommend that our clients e-mail us, in advance, the list of questions that interest them, so that we can devote enough time to drafting them and agreeing them with the Client and the Examinee.
- The questions may need further adjustment after the preliminary conversation. Send your list of questions right now: a.v.maryniak@gmail.com
INFIDELITY LIE DETECTOR TEST — VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
An infidelity test on a polygraph is carried out only with the voluntary consent of the person being tested. Before testing begins, the polygraph examiner will always explain to the person being tested all the details of the process, its procedure, the contraindications, how the polygraph works and the rights of the person being tested.
INFIDELITY LIE DETECTOR TEST — CONTRAINDICATIONS
An infidelity test on a polygraph is a safe procedure; however, like any polygraph testing, it has a number of contraindications, because for the body it is first and foremost a stressful situation, regardless of whether the person being tested is guilty or innocent.
The following categories of people cannot take an infidelity lie detector test:
- People suffering from mental illness or chronic cardiovascular disease.
- People under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- People taking sedative medication or antidepressants.
- People who are overtired or in a state of extreme overexcitement.
- Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

FIDELITY LIE DETECTOR TEST — THE EXAMINEE’S EMOTIONAL STATE
An infidelity test always causes strong anxiety both in the person being tested and in the client, regardless of whether the person actually did what they are suspected of.
Someone who is involved is anxious because they are afraid of being exposed, and someone who is not involved is anxious for fear of being falsely accused. However, this is a natural reaction of the body and cannot affect the reliability of the test result.
The method itself accounts for nervousness: the examiner compares reactions to different types of questions, not “calm versus nervous”. That is why ordinary nervousness does not prevent a correct result.
FIDELITY TEST ON A LIE DETECTOR — THE ORDER AND PROCEDURE OF TESTING
- Before the lie detector test, the polygraph examiner (a psychologist) conducts a pre-test interview to explain the test procedure and establish the psychological characteristics of the person being tested. All the test questions are also discussed during this interview, so that there are no unexpected questions during testing.
- At the second stage, the examinee takes exploratory tests so that the individual features of their physiological reactions to truth and lies can be studied in connection with the marital fidelity test.
- At the third stage, the examinee takes at least three infidelity tests using different techniques to increase the reliability of the results. If the results of one test are not confirmed by another test carried out using a different technique, the polygraph examiner conducts additional testing.
- At the fourth stage, the polygraph examiner makes a preliminary analysis of the charts and decides whether there is enough data to reach a decision. If there is not enough data, additional testing is carried out.
- At the fifth stage, a post-test interview is held to clarify all the necessary details that came up during testing.
- At the sixth stage, the polygraph examiner analyses the data obtained, reaches a decision and passes all the test data to an independent specialist, who gives their own verdict.
- A final conclusion is prepared and handed over to the client. Despite the time and labour involved, this approach makes it possible to achieve highly reliable and accurate results in an infidelity polygraph test.
INFIDELITY LIE DETECTOR TEST — PREPARING THE EXAMINEE
To get through a lie detector test successfully and with minimal emotional strain, we give our clients the following advice:
- Get a good night’s sleep before the test.
- Avoid taking tranquillisers, sedatives and antidepressants.
- Avoid alcohol and drugs.
- Feeling anxious before the test is normal, so there is no need to take medication to relieve it. Polygraph examiners, who hold university degrees in psychology, will help bring the emotional state back to normal in natural ways.
- We also strongly recommend that our clients make sure the examinees follow these recommendations.
- Please note that if these recommendations are not followed, we have the right to refuse to carry out the test.
POLYGRAPH FIDELITY TEST — ATTEMPTS AT DECEPTION AND COUNTERMEASURES
We have no right to forbid examinees from trying to fool the lie detector during an infidelity test. However, we must warn you: such attempts usually show up on the charts and the motion sensor, and the examiner will note them in the conclusion for the Client.
Attempts to influence the result harm the examinee first of all: they complicate the conclusion and increase the chance of looking deceptive. The best strategy is to answer truthfully and calmly.
INFIDELITY LIE DETECTOR TEST — THE CLIENT’S PRESENCE
We do not recommend that the Client be present during a lie detector test, as this may have a negative effect on the Examinee’s emotional state and distract them from the testing process. However, in the case of an infidelity lie detector test, we can allow the Client to be present, but only if the examinee consents to it.
