Who conducts the test
Andriy Maryniak — founder of Polygraph Lviv
Certified polygraph examiner, one of the founders of the first All-Ukrainian Association of Polygraph Examiners, an expert with more than 14 years of experience. He develops the lie detection centre: he conducts tests in person in Lviv and, for other cities in Ukraine and Europe, recommends trusted fellow polygraph examiners. He speaks with English-speaking clients himself.
Holds a degree in psychology, graduated from Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, trained on a range of modern polygraphs and keeps improving his skills on international courses.

How a polygraph works — explained in plain words
A polygraph test is a precise scientific method that measures and analyses changes in a person’s physiological reactions in response to key questions.
During the test the device records breathing, pulse, blood pressure, skin conductance and micro-movements — these reactions show where an answer is truthful and where information is being concealed.

Can you fool a lie detector?
Practically no. Modern methods, software and the examiner’s experience make it possible to detect countermeasures and deliberate manipulation, and in difficult cases we combine several technologies — there is no way to fool them all at once.

Yes. Only the client who ordered the test receives the conclusion. If the test is ordered by an employer, a partner or another person, the person tested knows in advance who will receive the result and confirms this in writing. Personal details from the interview that are not related to the test questions do not go into the conclusion. Nothing is passed on to third parties.
Do you do infidelity tests?
Yes. It is one of the most common reasons people contact us. The questions are worded tactfully and the result is discussed confidentially.
